Idols48

You're probably here because you have an interest on Japanese idols. And hooray, you're on the right site!

I made this blog for several reasons (needs and a want). First is that the Jpop fangirl "I" need to have an outlet for her thoughts. Second, the journalism student "I" need to hone her writing skills. And last but not the least, the sentimental "I" want to remember.

Just for fun, below is a diagram showing my predicted the proportion of my output in this Idols48 based on my current interest.

As you can see, my main interest is AKB48 and family. The second place in my heart is the Hello!Project group which is ironically, my first love.

Of course, 95% (the remaining 5% is for others) of the content here will be related to Japan, as AKB48 and H!P are J-idol groups. But I made a separate category for that because there's a possibility that some random post about the culture and issues of Japan might just pop out here. Again, this is only a prediction of what will come out here in Idols48.

I'm also planning to post my photos of unboxing my Jpop stuff. I like to unbox stuff. I like to document my unboxing of stuff. I like to watch and see people unbox their stuff. And I know a lot of you also do! Having a physical good is important for me because it's not easy to get unlike download links which are just one or two clicks away. I especially enjoy the goods that come with them especially photos and trading cards. Having bonuses from stores (like CDJapan and HMV) is probably the main reason why people are motivated to buy first press releases. And of course, it's a great thing that we're able to help our idols!

Aaaand, that's all for now! I hope that through this blog, I'll be able to meet Jpop fans from different parts of the world. Spread the love! <3

  3. I am a really big AKB fan too! My friend and I are planning to start either a blog or a Youtube channel for unboxing and AKB stuffssss

I'm really really excited for 0 to 1 no Aida, and the 42nd Single!

I live in America and wish there was a way for anime conventions to host like an AKB member like Yuko or Takamina as a guest. I'm thinking of writing to one that I started going to, and it's pretty big in US so hopefully they will consider it.
