U wouldn't happen to know if Ue Kara Mariko still contains insert photos? Cause Eien Pressure doesn't anymore and I'm not sure if Suzukake nanchara does either~
Hi! CDJapan says Ue Kara Mariko doesn't have a photo anymore but the one I got from YesAsia still had one. But then again, it's YesAsia so my copy was probably a stock from long ago.
I was highly going to order from YESASIA cause they don't really re-stock anything (which is good and bad sometimes lolol)~ CDJapan operates differently (although, they say lots of things don't have photo's or trading cards, but they do). I order Kitagawa Kenji from CdJapan recently and I got a trading card even though they said it didn't come with one lol~~
Oh~ I didn't know that. I just assumed every copy would contain HS-tickets anyways since they can't selectively not put it in. I'd imagine the 48-company just mass-produces everything so they don't have to make 2nd-press copies. I'm pretty sure SKE-singles still contain trading cards too.
They most likely do different batches of pressing/printing. :)
Before SKE started doing different covers for limited and regular, they followed the same pattern with NMB. Same covers but the cards and hs tickets are only in the first press.
After Okie Dokie and until now, the limited and regular are listed separately in shops since they have different covers. The limited edition copies have the trading cards or photos while the regular ones don't have. The exception here is Sansei Kawaii which do not contain photos even for limited.
This lessens the confusion and SKE limited edition copies take a loooooong time to sell out.
Recently, NMB did the same with Don't Look Back. The only difference is that both versions contain photos. On the other hand, the non-first press copies of singles before Don't Look Back probably don't have cards.
omg~ so much info lol. I think it would have been very confusing to being a fan back in 2011-2012 (so many things changed). Even now, NMB and SKE don't do trading cards anymore (and I kind of miss them lol)~

DeleteFor your Kitagawa Kenji copy, did it have the handshake ticket?
DeleteYes, it did (it's really cute too cause there's hearts on it lol)~"NMB48 全国握手会" (that's what the paper says, so yes lol)
DeleteThat's great! A friend told me only the first press copies (with hs tickets) of NMB singles have the trading cards.

DeleteThat's true. And it gets more confusing for fans now.
